Magazines
I was at the shops yesterday, buying food. There was this woman in front of me in the queue. She had $600 worth of shopping (I checked). So I was waiting for ages for it to all be put through the till.
Now normally I never look at magazines in the shops, my amazing brain just diverts my attention away from them, but since I was there for so long today I eventually looked at them, and this is what I thought:
“People read THIS?!”
I was honestly disgusted. Were Jakki around I am sure we would have had a new Cam Is Disgusted photo.
I cannot believe the kind of utter shit people read.

Yeah, we have loads of Take That, Woman’s Day, Famous, OK and New Idea at work. Sad part is, even guys read them. :???:
Women’s magazines are like the antithesis to feminism! AND their analysis of what celebs bought for lunch, or their recent nightclub escapades, or their millionth entry into celebrity “rehab”, or the full details of the token black baby they adopted …its so so lame.
Guys magazines are pretty boring too though. IKEA recently got new wheels and boat magazines and FHM and shit. You really only need to “read” one page before you’ve seen it all.

Oh and….I can’t believe ANYONE would need $600 worth of shopping, unless their going underground in some bunker for the next month or something.
I think the way you described it to me in person was way funnier though because just thinking about the her partner/cashier’s reaction is making me giggle. XD
